K-2 Literacy Program

K-5 English Language Learners Program
The focus of the Literacy Program is the development of early literacy skills for students in grades K-2. Certified teachers and support staff will be working with students in small groups. Literacy activities include Read Aloud, independent and partner reading, Guided Reading, Reader’s Theater, and journal writing. The English Language Learners (ELL) program serves students in grades K-5. Certified teachers will work with your child(ren) in small groups using research-based intervention strategies that are an extension of their current literacy program.
The program will start on Monday, July 8th, 2019 in the mornings (8:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) and will be held Monday through Friday for three weeks. The Summer Achievement Academy will be held at Crocker Farm Elementary School and transportation will be provided for all interested.
This program is provided by invitation only and supported by Title I and Title III federal funds. Space will be limited, so please complete the forms and bring it to your child’s classroom teacher by Friday, May 3rd, 2018. This form can also be completed online by clicking the CLICK HERE button.
