The School Committee will cooperate with other schools and with local, state, and regional agencies and organizations to:

  • Seek solutions to educational problems of common concern
  • Acquire federal and state grants
  • Promote local school system involvement in state and federal decision-making.

This cooperation may include, among other areas of concern: research, providing transportation for students, purchasing, exchange of information and data, the coordination of school activities and programs  for students and staff.

Before joining any major cooperative programs, education collaboratives, or joint educational services with other school systems, the School Committee will be informed of the details of such a program. School Committee approval must be obtained for such programs. This does not preclude small-scale cooperative projects that are in the best interests of our school system and students to be approved by the Superintendent only.
