When final agreement is reached during negotiations, the negotiated agreement will be put in writing. When the negotiated agreement is ratified by the collective bargaining group and by the Amherst-Pelham Regional School Committee, the Amherst School Committee, and the Pelham School Committee and is signed by all parties, the negotiated agreement will become a part of the official minutes of the Committees.
After the Regional School Committee votes to ratify the negotiated agreement, ratification by the Amherst School Committee and the Pelham School Committee will not be unreasonably withheld.
The terms and conditions of the agreement will become a part of the School Committee policies and will represent the full and complete understanding and contract concerning the terms and conditions of employment between the parties.
The Regional School Committee will make public a summary of the final agreement it approves.
