A Thank You to Food Service

We have 14 distribution sites providing food, that now also includes Pelham. This would not be possible without the amazing work our food service staff, under the direction of Mike Gallo O’Connell, have done. We are grateful to our drivers, custodians and volunteers who have given their time and energy to making sure our students get the food they need. SEE THE FLYER HERE  

Employee Open Enrollment

Please visit the Town of Amherst's website for details regarding open enrollment. All forms/changes should be sent to Human Resources no later than April 15, 2020. You can send the forms/changes or any questions to Human Resources at HumanResources@arps.org. Also, given the current crisis, forms will be accepted without signature for those who are not able to sign. Extended School Closure

Please see the attached letter for more information regarding the extended closure based on Governor Baker's announcement on March 25, 2020. Schools will remain closed until May 4th. Meal Services

During the COVID-19 school closure, meal services will be delivered to 13 locations in a “Grab and Go” variety to our Amherst students. Beginning next Monday, March 23, UMass will be partnering with the District to deliver to the highlighted sites with their Baby Berk Food Truck.  We want to thank them for helping the District to ensure that all of our students have access to nutritious breakfast and lunch options throughout the school closure. Student Meals

We are pleased to share we will start delivering meals, once a day, to 13 different locations in Amherst for families who access our federal nutrition program. We are attaching the flier with the locations and times we will be delivering lunch and breakfast during weekdays starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17, 2020.  Please note volunteers will be at each of these locations to help with the distribution.
