Jess Nardizzi — Assistant Principal, Amherst Regional Middle School

Jess Nardizzi brings more than 15 years of experience as a visionary, equity-driven educational leader to her new role as Assistant Principal of Amherst Regional Middle School. Holding an Ed.S. in Administration, Planning, and Policy from UMass Lowell, a Master of Social Work from NYU, and a B.A. in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Wheaton College, Jess is also a licensed clinical social worker and holds Massachusetts licensure as an administrator (K–8) and school adjustment counselor (all levels). She has served as an assistant principal, interim principal, school adjustment counselor, and behavioral health consultant, with a track record of building inclusive, student-centered environments through restorative practices and strong community partnerships. Jess previously served at Pelham Elementary, then spent a year gaining administrative experience in another district before returning to Amherst. Known for leading peer mediation programs, supporting mental health initiatives, and fostering student voice, Jess is deeply committed to ensuring every child at Amherst Regional Middle School thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

 

Celia Senckowski — Multilingual Education Administrator
Celia Senckowski serves as the district’s Multilingual Education Administrator, bringing 20 years of experience as a world language educator and a dedicated advocate for English Learner (EL/L) students. As a former EL learner herself, she is deeply committed to educational equity and cultural understanding. Celia holds dual M.A. degrees in Education—one in School Leadership and another in Secondary Education (Spanish) from American International College, and a B.A. in Spanish/Secondary Education from Worcester State University, with further coursework at UMass Amherst. She is certified in Foreign Language (Spanish, grades 5–12) and SEI for Administrators and is pursuing bilingual certification.

Throughout her career, Celia has led transformative ELL initiatives: she served as Department Head of World Languages at North High School (Worcester), co-led district-wide ELL professional development, and developed innovative programs, including a social-emotional learning advisory model and an international travel program that enriched cultural and language development. Her leadership is rooted in trust, collaboration, responsiveness, and a steadfast commitment to elevating multilingual learners’ academic and personal success using best practices in multilingual administration.

 

Kristin Worgess — Interim Assistant Principal, Wildwood Elementary
Kristin Worgess joins Wildwood Elementary as its new Interim Assistant Principal, bringing over two decades of experience in special education as a licensed occupational therapist and educational team lead. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from American International College and is currently pursuing a Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (Mental Health) at Bay Path University. Kristin’s background includes leadership roles in community-based adaptive recreation programs, program development for intensive therapeutic summer camps, and service as a board member for a number of organizations, as well as a coach for Amherst Youth Sports. Her work has been recognized with the Massachusetts Teachers Association Excellence in Teaching Award for her leadership in inclusive recreation programming. Known for her collaborative approach and strong community ties, Kristin is committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for every student at Wildwood.
