Marta Guevara has been a vital part of our school district since her hire in September 1999, and her impact on the district is witnessed by the students and families she has taught and helped during that time. Over the years, she has held various roles, from Spanish Teacher and Assistant Principal at ARHS to Student Services Administrator at the Central Office, and currently serves as the Director of Student and Family Engagement.
With her PhD in Educational Leadership from UMass, Marta brings a wealth of experience and institutional knowledge to her work. She is a tireless advocate for student and staff safety, and her commitment to the district’s values shines through in everything she does. Known for her passion for seeing the “whole child,” Marta collaborates with staff to ensure every student is fully supported. Her unwavering dedication to students, families, and colleagues continues to make a lasting difference in our community.
Marta Guevara is proud of her involvement with the dance group Grupo Folklorico Tradiciones, which is made up of district staff. The group has been dancing together for many years and has an extensive repertoire of dances from Latin America. In the past, they performed dances and shared cultural information in all schools during Hispanic Heritage Month.
Thank you, Marta, for your relentless care, leadership, and advocacy!
