We are thrilled to celebrate Seiha Krouch, who has been selected by the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce for a 2024 A+ Community Service Award! This honor recognizes Seiha’s decades of volunteer work with students and his dedication to preserving the history and heritage of the Cambodian community in Amherst.
Seiha has been instrumental in creating a powerful exhibit with the Amherst Historical Society, capturing stories of the Cambodian refugee experience and highlighting our town’s history of welcoming refugees in the 1980s. This exhibit, which includes contributions from Amherst students, will soon travel to the State House and other notable locations across Massachusetts. Seiha’s legacy also extends to his work with the Asian-American affinity group, where he has supported students after school and on weekends for many years.
Seiha is a respected member in the community, and his contributions have enriched the lives of our students and strengthened our community ties. Please join us in congratulating Seiha on this well-deserved honor, which will be formally celebrated at the Annual A+ Awards Celebration, Harvesting Excellence, on November 14.
