Home 5 Technology

Students at the Amherst Pelham Regional Middle School have access to a variety of technology. There are two full general purpose computer labs at the Middle School along with multiple laptop carts. There is a digital language lab that is used by the world language department.  The library has a large number of computers available along with a mini computer lab, equipped with a digital projector. All staff and students have access to the Google GSuite of tools.

The labs and library are available for research and other writing uses.  There are a number of technology-related clubs including Minecraft, coding, and robotics.  Technology is integrated deeply into the curriculum. Digital Citizenship courses run throughout the year for students.

All Middle School students are eligible to participate in the 1:1 Chromebook initiative. If families choose to have their students participate, students will be issued a district-owned Chromebook, which will follow them to high school. Students are able to take the Chromebooks home at night so they have access to the same technology at home.  Optionally, students may elect to store them at the school overnight.
