The Committees endorse as a high priority the goal of providing all students with a broad spectrum of information on career opportunities and an extensive set of learning options for developing:
In pursuing this goal, the Committees believe that more students will be served by providing career information and specific and general occupational training programs at varying age levels in a comprehensive school system. Then students can emphasize either the academic or occupational aspects of a curriculum at the most meaningful times in their individualized learning programs.
